SUNRISE Martin Jones Jersey , Fla. (AP) After a night when they produced very little, the Florida Panthers top line clicked to spark a winning rally in the third period Saturday night.Jonathan Huberdeau scored with 1:06 left and Florida came back in the final period for a 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.Florida mounted the winning rush when Keith Yandle sent a long stretch-pass to Evgenii Dadonov along the boards near the Florida offensive zone. Dadonov slid a pass back to Aleksander Barkov, who found Huberdeau skating in cross-ice on the back door for his 10th goal.Me and Barky were talking to each other and we were like, theres no way nothing is going to happen, Huberdeau said. We had so many chances. Finally it happened at the end. We just stuck with it and it worked out for us.The play wouldnt have started without a heads-up pass by Yandle, who saw Dadonov alone halfway down the ice.It was a great play by (Dadonov) stretching the zone and getting open. Those guys did their magic. Its what they do. They play big for us every night and find ways to win us games, Yandle said.Flyers interim head coach Scott Gordon said it was a risky play by Florida, who improved to 5-0-3 in the second game of back-to-back contests. It started off, they got possession and went into a set breakout. When that happens, you have to get into your position. They just took off. And as soon as they took off, they fired it up the boards. Its a bit of a hope play by them, Gordon said.Down 1-0, Floridas second-ranked power play finally put the Panthers on the board in the third period. Huberdeau slid a pass through the slot to Mike Hoffman, who buried his team-leading 18th goal at 13:16 to tie it at 1.In Floridas 5-3 home loss on Friday to Montreal, the Panthers top line produced just one assist.I loved Barkovs line all game … ure-jersey , Florida coach Bob Boughner said. I think Dadonov had six or seven chances. But we didnt stop coming. We just kept bringing our game and putting pucks behind them. It was a big difference from last nights game and todays game.Shayne Gostisbehere scored for the Flyers, who lost their second straight.Barkov had two assists, and James Reimer stopped 34 shots. Carter Hart had 34 saves for the Flyers.Just like the night before in a 5-3 home loss to Montreal, the Panthers fell behind in the opening minutes. Gostisbehere sent in his fifth goal after a pass from Jordan Weal on 3-on-2 rush at 1:45 of the first period.Philadelphia killed 40 seconds of a 5-on-3 power play and the remaining 1:20 with the Panthers on the man advantage in the middle portion of the period.Hart stood strong in the second period as the Panthers put nine shots on goal, with a few being good scoring chances. He stuffed Denis Malgin in the first minute after a slick drop-pass by defenseman Mike Matheson as he went behind the Flyers goal. The 20-year-old goalie denied Dadonov twice in a minute once point-blank from the middle of the slot at 14:03, the other when the Russian forward circled behind Harts goal and lifted a high shot from in close that Hart held.NOTES: With Flyers third-line center Nolan Patrick (upper body) expected to be out the next four to five days, Weal centered a line between Scott Laughton and Michael Raffl after being out most of December. Weal, 26, had only played in two of the last 12 games. Scott Gordon is 3-2-1 since being named Philadelphias interim coach on Dec. 17. Florida traded goaltender Michael Hutchinson to Toronto for a 2020 fifth-round draft pick. A free-agent acquisition, Hutchinson appeared in four games, logging a 1-1-2 record with a 4.18 goals against average and an .839 save percentage. Matheson played in his 200th NHL game.UP NEXTFlyers: Visit the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday.Panthers: Visit the Detroit Red Wings on Monday. BOSTON (AP) Somewhere along the way, Canadiens defenseman Jeff Petry must have learned a little baseball, too.The son of major league pitcher Dan Petry scored the game-winner just 15 seconds into overtime on Monday night, batting the puck out of the air and past Tuukka Rask to give Montreal a 3-2 victory over the Boston Bruins. That bloodline of Jeff Petry in the baseball world, Canadiens coach Claude Julien said with a smile … rtl-jersey , he showed his talent on that goal.Carey Price stopped 41 shots for the Canadiens, but he allowed David Krejcis 6-on-4 goal with 38 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime. Once there, Montreal didnt need a lot of time to regain the lead. After winning the opening faceoff, the Canadiens gathered in their own zone before Max Domi carried the puck over the blue line and then waited for Petry to get into position in front of the Boston net.Domis shot went off Rasks glove and into the air, where Petry swatted it into the net with his backhand. We lost the draw and then all of a sudden, we never touch it, Boston coach Bruce Cassidy said.Paul Byron scored a short-handed goal, and Brendan Gallagher also scored to help Montreal earn its third victory in four tries.Rask made 19 saves but lost for the first time in his last six starts. A year after the Bruins swept their Original Six rivals in the season series winning six matchups in a row in all the Canadiens managed to split their four meetings this season. Its our No. 1 rival, lot of history here, Byron said. And every time you come in this building and win, its huge.Brad Marchand scored for Boston, giving the Bruins a 1-0 lead about six minutes into the game. Julien said the turning point was when Nicolas Deslauriers and Bostons Kevan Miller dropped their gloves late in the first period.Although it was the Canadiens defenseman who lost his helmet and wound up on the bottom when the two went to the ice, Julien said it gave his team a boost.I think it helped, Julien said. We scored afterward, and I think when you look at the kind of fight it was Womens Alexander Steen Jersey , theres no doubt it gave us a spark. Its the kind of thing we dont see much anymore, but I think the players and the coaches appreciated what he did.Gallagher tied it about two minutes later. Late in the second, with Victor Mete off for hooking, Byron outskated Bostons Patrice Bergeron to a loose puck at the blue line and went in on the net, switching to his backhand before flipping it past Rasks glove for the go-ahead goal.It stayed that way until Montreals Michael Chaput was called for delay of game for shooting the puck over the glass with 2:05 left. Rask came off 30 seconds later, and the Bruins worked their two-man advantage and got the puck to Krejci, who wristed it into the net to assure Boston one point. We got one. Krejci got a big goal there late to get us that point, Marchand said.Would have been nice to get the second with Toronto losing tonight.NOTES: David Pastrnak played in his 300th NHL game. The Bruins wore the sweaters they made for the Winter Classic, at Notre Dame Stadium against the Chicago Blackhawks. Bergeron has 13 points in 11 games since he missed 16 with a rib injury. Canadiens coach Claude Julien improved to 2-6 against the team he led to the 2011 Stanley Cup championship. Byron, who hadnt scored a point in six games, scored his first goal since back-to-back game-winners on Dec. 20 and 22.UP NEXTCanadiens: Host the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night.Bruins: Visit the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday night.
